Kettlebells

Kettlebells are one of my favourite training tools. This steel or a cast iron bell with a handle attached, has sculpted althetes for centuries. If you think you can’t possibly use something that is for such elite athletes, then you are in for a surprise, as you can use the kettlebell and get fantastic results, even if you are a complete beginner to fitness. So regardless of who you are, there are many reasons why a kettlebell is well worth adding to your workout arsenal. The unique way you hold a kettlebell compared to a dumbbell means you challenge your core and stabilising muscles a lot more – so you get strong from the inside out. The kettlebell achieves this as it has an offset centre of gravity. You will become truly strong and balanced, not bulky, and you will reduce your risk of injury.

The Jungle Gym

Suitable for everyone-from beginners to professional athletes, the Jungle Gym allows you to use your own body weight for an amazing set of exercises that work you from head to toe. Challenge your upper body with push-ups, body rows, chest flys, dips and chin-ups. Push the limits of your lower body with hip extensions, leg curls, squats and lunges. And get a rock hard core with incline planes, mountain climbers, windshield wipers and roll-outs.

Medicine Ball

Medicine ball training is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and sizes. There are many advantages to training with medicine balls as they allow for improved range of motion, core strength, coordination, flexibility, joint integrity, and upper and lower body strength. The great thing is that you can involve a partner or simply use a solid, sturdy wall. Instead of isolating certain muscle groups, you are able to train many different core muscles at once, cutting down on exercise time.

Sledgehammer

The Sledgehammer is a great training tool besides using it for manual labour. You can swing them repeatedly against a tyre or log to jack up your cardio, mimicking what sledgehammers are normally used for. They will improve your explosiveness and muscular endurance.

The Power Wheel

The Power Wheel is the ultimate tool for training core stability. (A study at Berkeley found it out performs everything else.) Simple roll-outs done from the knees work your entire body. You can do many other great moves like pike-ups or just walking for distance with the Power Wheel strapped to your feet. Challenge yourself to how far you can walk or race a friend for some competition

The Heavy Punch Bag

The heavy bag is one of the oldest, most recognisable pieces of training equipment and is perfect for developing speed, power and endurance. The heavy bag is one the most sport-specific and effective training tools available. Have a great punch up without the bruises.

TNT Resistance Cables

The TNT Cable is pure resistance training. Resisted squats, presses, cable cleans, 1 arm punches, uppercuts, rowing and with an added running belt; resisted running, lateral movements, bear crawls, skaters and much more. This tool creates power and speed safely and efficiently. TNT cables can be attached to a wall, door or pole. Cables with different torques can be fitted into the quick-fit handles, giving tensions from 60lb to 300lb. Its ergonomic design gives it comfort while allowing you to instantly change and adjust it for extreme workouts anytime or anywhere. According to studies, the TNT system can increase functional useful power by as much as 40 percent.
